I found my passion late in life. My career as financial planner at a large corporation kept my artistic talent buried. I admired art, especially glass art as a consumer, but not as a creator. Only after being ‘downsized’ did I learn to build with my hands, as well as my mind. I found the excitement of kiln-worked glass, and found my passion. The process of melting glass and influencing its fluidity gives release to my creative spirit. I'm currently learning metalsmithing, and my hope is to continue to grow and enhance my hot glass techniques.
